Hannah's Socks • warm feet, warm hearts

The theme for National Volunteer Week 2009, commemorated April 19-25, is "Celebrating People in Action."

I love that this is the theme. At Hannah's Socks we have so many volunteers to thank: from our board of directors to students at BGSU and the University of Toledo; the many schools, churches and businesses who volunteered to hold Socks Drives all across Ohio and even across the country; to individuals like Missy, someone I've never met but who took the time to get involved and collected a ton of socks to help the Hannah's Socks mission.

Thanks to each and every one of you who's taken the time to "Care, Share, Give A Pair!"
