Every other Saturday, the Hannah's Socks team loads up boxes of socks and heads to the Downtown Toledo Public Library to give new socks to men, women, and families who've fallen on hard times.
One thing many people don't realize: Warm weather doesn't negate the need for socks. The demand is just as great during the summer months as the winter months.

If you'd like to help, we can use ankle-length socks for men, women, boys and girls at both our Toledo and Cincinnati offices. They'll be distributed to folks we help in Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky.

We found a nice surprise on the front porch today!

Big thanks go out to the Hagman family from Lakewood, Washington. These two big boxes of socks traveled more than 2,300 miles to reach our home office in Toledo, Ohio.
It's wonderful to see Hannah's Story inspiring people -- from so, so far away. Thank you, Hagman family.

Big thanks go out today -- yet again! -- to Elie Levy, President & CEO of Planet Sox!

The timing is perfect: As the summer heat hits the Midwest, they sent 3 boxes of ankle-length socks. Over the weekend, we distributed them during our biweekly Downtown Toledo Library program, which serves needy men, women and families in Northwest Ohio.
